Job Mission:

Follow welding through all its aspects from bid phase to project completions. Looking at solutions of high-quality level and high productivity, according to Project Schedule, monitoring and supporting Production Phase.

Promote and support new welding solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve the most competitive and strategic results

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue preliminary Welding Documents for assigned project or bids.

Review clients specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed Welding procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with required quality levels.

Coordinate and schedule personnel and systems for the qualification of welding procedures and welders

Review subcontractors tender documents and technical qualifications

Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits

Review and approve subcontractors Welding submissions

Review journals and technical papers for new welding technology. Maintain contact with welding equipment suppliers and consumable vendors to promote advances in welding technology

Liaise with the barge personnel, particulary welding supervisors and operative welding figures, and assist

n optimising work methods and trouble shooting where and when required

Contract Technical review to verify Project Technical requirements for Welding Activities

Propose the Base material Purchase strategy for a fabrication Project

Prepare and issue Welding Documents (Welding Books, WPSs, WPQR, PTW report, Procedures, etc.)

Evaluate and estimate type and quantity of welding consumables

Job Requirements:

Engineering Degree.

Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase.

Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations.

Knowledge of the main applicable Industry materials selection and corrosion control international standards and codes (such as NACE, API, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL, etc.) and ability to analyse Clients standards

Knowledge of the principles of metallurgy and materials science

審核和批準(zhǔn)分包商提交的焊接材料

審閱焊接新技術(shù)的期刊和技術(shù)論文。與焊接設(shè)備供應(yīng)商和耗材供應(yīng)商保持聯(lián)系，促進(jìn)焊接技術(shù)的進(jìn)步

聯(lián)絡(luò)駁船人員，特別是焊接主管和操作焊接人員，并協(xié)助

在需要的時(shí)候優(yōu)化工作方法和解決問題

合同技術(shù)評審，以驗(yàn)證焊接活動(dòng)的項(xiàng)目技術(shù)要求

為制造項(xiàng)目提出基礎(chǔ)材料采購策略

準(zhǔn)備和發(fā)布焊接文件(焊接書，wps, WPQR, PTW報(bào)告，程序等)

評估和估計(jì)焊接耗材的種類和數(shù)量

學(xué)歷要求:工程學(xué)位。

了解從概念階段到現(xiàn)場工程階段的專業(yè)工程設(shè)計(jì)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、方法和工作流程。

了解主要的國際學(xué)科標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、規(guī)范和法規(guī)。

了解主要適用的行業(yè)材料選擇和腐蝕控制國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和規(guī)范(如NACE, API, ISO, NORSOK, DNVGL等)，并具有分析客戶標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的能力
